Even while planning the itinerary for Kuala Lumpur, all I could ever think about was their food. I have been in this city before and I knew fairly well that good food was inevitable so i I didn't mind coming back.
KL is one of the advance cities in Asia where life has gotten technologically ahead, yet the culture and the diversity that comes along with it have remained in tact. In fact, KL is a home not only to authentic Malay cuisine, but this is also the place where I have learned to love other cuisine that's relatively foreign to my tastebuds.
To anyone who plans to visit KL in the near future, by all means, I highly encourage you to treat your tastebuds to a gastronomic adventure. While the tourists spots such as the Petronas Towers and Batu Caves are definitely worth the visit, I suggest to make "food trip" your ultimate agenda.
A little insider note though, as a South East Asian city, indulge yourself in eating hawker style or some mid scale restaurants. Lucrative restaurants are expected to serve you with exquisite dishes, but these are also lucrative in the pocket, so I suggest you go out on the streets and experience Asia the way it should be. Not only does it feel truly "South East Asian", it also gives you some more bucks to spend for dessert!
